Fall 2024 - Latin I (hour long class) - Registration

wednesdays (3-4pm pacific // 6-7pm Eastern), august 28-december 19

This is the registration page for our Latin I class at Seven Hills Online Classical. In this class students will complete weekly translation assignments, participate in a creative approach to Latin learning, and complete the first semester of standard independent school Latin curriculum. Class meets via Zoom once a week and is designed for students ages 11 and up. All classes will be recorded and available for student review and in case of missed class(es). Please review class details and deposit information below and note that the deposit must be received and form below completed in order to hold a spot in class.

Meeting times: Wednesdays, 3-4pm Pacific (6-7pm Eastern), August 28th-December 18 (taking Thanksgiving and the week before off)
Cost: $30 per class per student - approximately $120 per month
Textbook: Cambridge Latin, North American 5th Edition
Location: Zoom
Homework: Posted weekly on our class page (along with class recordings)
Class deposit: $150 (applied to first 5 classes (one in August and four in September)). Payment or PO must be received in order to complete registration and hold a spot in class. If your child chooses not to take class after the first meeting, we will send a refund minus the cost of the first class ($30).

Payments must be made via Zelle (preferred - wesley.swing@gmail.com), Venmo (@WesSwing - sending to friends - phone number (434) 825-5381), or an Ocean Grove Charter School PO made out to “Latin and the Classics with Wes.” When making your payment, please indicate your child’s name in the note. Payment must be made in order to complete registration.
