Ancient Civilizations part 1 - Fall 2025 - Registration
Mondays from 2-3pm Pacific (5-6pm Eastern) - September 8-November 24
This course for ages 10 and up covers Mediterranean history from prehistory to the age of European Colonialism, emphasizing shared cultural roots and history, examining the origin of the ideas of "East vs. West," and dispelling the myths and stereotypes in the presentation of several thousand years of Mediterranean history. The goal is to provide students with the knowledge of important cultural touchstones with the proper historical practice and context.
Students will complete reading assignments and participate in thoughtful class discussions, gaining knowledge of the ancient world that can directly apply to the present.

- Enrollment: Open to students 10 and up. No knowledge of ancient civiliazation required.
- Cost: $420 (12 hour-long classes). If your child decides not to continue with class after the first meeting, we will refund the deposit (minus the cost of the first class ($35).
- Location: Zoom — classes will be recorded and posted to our class page in case of absences
- Textbook: Materials will be provided by the instructor, Joshua.
