Explore the wisdom of ancient Greece and Rome in this 12-week online course. Students will examine timeless topics such as free will, happiness, love, knowledge, justice, politics, religion, the soul, and the nature of the cosmos. They will learn how ancient philosophers began to rationally discuss these ideas amid great cultural and historical change. Readings will be personalized to student interests. The course is taught by our philosophy teacher, Luis Sokol.
