Mythology for Younger Kids - Fall 2025 - Registration
Meeting times: Wednesdays from 12-1 pm Pacific // 3-4 pm Eastern, September 3 — November 19
In this class, we will explore the mythologies of ancient cultures, including Greco-Roman, Native American, African, Asian, and others. Students will learn and engage with stories from mythology and compare and contrast the myths of various world cultures. The class will also include creative projects with prompts based on a variety of world mythologies. Each session will involve examining a mythological story together and discussing its themes and imagery. We will emphasize free-writing, illustration, story telling, playfulness, and experimentation—encouraging students to follow their creative urges wherever they lead! Students who took the class last semester are welcome and encouraged to return, as we will cover new material with new prompts. If you're interested in the asynchronous class option which we offer at discounted rates, please complete the registration form and indicate your preference.
