Free Trial Class: Introduction to Latin for Younger Kids

The Large Theater of Pompeii

This class is designed as an introduction to the Latin language for younger students (ages 7-9) and an opportunity to experience both Latin and our teaching approach at Seven Hills Classical. Students will be introduced to the Latin language, translate real Latin sentences, and explore the historical and cultural context of Pompeii in 79 CE.

Following the trial class, families interested in continuing with Latin can receive information about our new section of Latin class starting in late August, 2026.

  • Location: Zoom (recording available for absentees). Parents are encouraged to attend or listen in on the class.

  • Enrollment: Open to students ages 7-9, and parents are encouraged to attend/listen in. No prior Latin knowledge required.
