Luis is a writer and researcher based in Mexico City. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Studies on Violence and Subjectivity at El Colegio de Saberes, where his work explores themes such as desire, conflict, and the foundations of social order, with a particular focus on thinkers like Hegel, Benjamin, and René Girard. Drawing from continental philosophy and psychoanalysis, his research seeks to understand the dynamics of conflict and the possibilities of its non-violent resolution. He is the author of a book of short stories and published essays, and his writing often moves between literary and theoretical forms. Alongside his academic work, Luis has been a Spanish tutor for the past five years, offering personalized instruction to students from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
