Spring 2026 - Introduction to Ancient Philosophy

Meets: Wednesdays - 10-11am Pacific (1-2pm Eastern) - January 14 - April 1

Explore the wisdom of ancient Greece and Rome. Students will examine timeless topics such as free will, happiness, love, knowledge, justice, politics, religion, the soul, and the nature of the cosmos. They will learn how ancient philosophers began to rationally discuss these ideas amid great cultural and historical change. Readings will be personalized to student interests. Spring 2026 - Ancient Philosophy Part II

Meets: Mondays - 10-11 am Pacific (1-2 pm Eastern) - January 12 - March 30

This is a continuation of the Intro to Philosophy course at Seven Hills Classical. Students will continue to explore the wisdom of ancient Greece and Rome, diving deeper into the work of five ancient philosophers, with readings personalized to student interests.
