Mythology for Younger Kids - Spring 2025 - Registration

Meeting times: Wednesdays from 12-1pm PST // 3-4pm EST, January 15th - May 28th

In this class, we will explore the mythologies of ancient cultures, including Greco-Roman, Native American, African, Asian, and others. Students will learn and engage with stories from mythology and compare and contrast the myths of various world cultures. The class will also include creative projects with prompts based on a variety of world mythologies. Each session will involve examining a mythological story together and discussing its themes and imagery. We will emphasize free-writing, illustration, story telling, playfulness, and experimentation—encouraging students to follow their creative urges wherever they lead!

Enrollment: Open to students ages 7-10. No previous knowledge of mythology needed
Cost: approximately $120 per month (depending on the number of classes - $30 per hour long class meeting)

Registration: Please complete the form below. As space is limited, deposit payment of $90 for class must be received in order to complete registration. Deposit is applied to the first three classes in January. If your child decides not to continue with class after the first meeting, we will refund the price of class (minus the first class $30). Payments are required to secure a space in class.

Payment must be made in order to complete registration.
