Creative Writing Workshop - Stories and Poems of Metamorphosis - Registration
Saturday December 5 from 9-10:30am Pacific (12-1:30pm Eastern) Zoom
Narcissus (Caravaggio), c. 1597 – c. 1599
This 90-minute one-time workshop will introduce students to several mythological stories of metamorphosis, such as those of Callisto, Actaeon and Daphne. After reading and discussing the themes of these stories, we'll spend time together working on our own creative tales of transformation, in the form of poetry or fiction, in response to prompts. Then we'll share our work with each other for supportive discussion.
