Summer 2025 - Readings in Latin
Wednesdays, 2-3 pm Pacific (5-6 pm Eastern), June 10 through August 12
The Young Cicero Reading
This relaxed, no-homework course is designed to help students maintain their Latin skills over the summer. Each week, students will read and discuss Latin passages, focusing on vocabulary, translation practice, and enjoying the language in a low-pressure environment. The course is ideal for students who want to strengthen their Latin without the stress of formal assignments and improve their reading skills for opportunities such as the 2026 National Latin Exam: Reading Comprehension.
Class is open to all students (ages 11 and up) who have completed at least one year of Latin at Seven Hills. We offer a discounted asynchronous option for this class. Simply let us know when filling out the form that you are interested in the asynchronous option.
Dan looks forward to reading Latin with your kids!
